Our latest build Honda CB400 CR for our client Mr. adeeb
More story soon.
The Honda CBX 750 (police bike) is getting a lot of attention lately. This recent project is owned by Mr. Tan, who came with his CBX750 with already some modification done. The brief was to make it look better. The most crucial part was to design the seat so that it matches with the stock bulky & boxy tank. We came up with the idea of taking the concept from a F-14 Tomcat Jet fighter, which we think suits well as the bike was an ex-cop bike and the stance was there. Tank and seat colour have been design integrating with F-14 Tomcat design with a mix of white, matte black and gold. We re-structured the rear framing so that the seat will be inline with the tank, and added an electrical tray to house all the wirings below the seat. Handle have been change to a clip on bars, speedometer and the rpm meter have been relocate by making a custom bracket and a new set of front headlight. Tires were also changed to Swallow Classic tire for the front and Shinko tire for the rear.
This project has started quite some time ago. Owner himself, JoJo involved directly in the building process. Jojo actually work in an office above our workshop, so every evening he will come down and get his hands dirty to do up the bike. Bike has been stripped apart, including engine which has been send for blasting work. Now moving on to do fitting for the USD forks and swingarm with monoshock. USD fork is from a Yamaha Tzr250 and the swingarm from a Suzuki RGF250.
Another new project coming in for 2017. Honda CBX 750 (Police Bike) as usual. Project name “La Medico”. Here are some shots on the mock up for the custom tank, made by our talented friend Bigcat custom. Tank fits nicely tho need to re adjust the fixing of the tank.
Here is another CMC400 project that we are working with recently. Project called “Rusty” by the owner Mr. Amri. The rear setup using quality parts from Bratz-style signal lights & rear taillight. Seat by Kerkus. Tank and side cover just came back from paintjob by AziziSpray today. Tank basically is the bare metal colour with Kerkus decal on both side, finish with the clear coating. Side cover using matte black finish.

Its been a while since i last blog. A lot happening around the workshop. However my 2017 resolution is to update this blog more frequent so that you guys can get more updates on whats happening around. But mostly will be photos. For now, lets start with our Honda CX500 progress. Tank just came back from paintjob done by AziziSpray. Nicely done with the matte black strip at centre of the tank and a bit of gold lining on the side. Tires also installed with stock cx500 rims finish with gloss black and Swallow Classic rubber on both front and back.

For those who is wondering whats a CMC400, its a new brand thats getting much attention here in Malaysia. With a on the road price around rm18,000++, powered with 400cc engine, its a reasonable price for new bikers or even for oldtimers who wants to upgrade cc. Design is about the same as Honda CB400ss. Bike is made in China with some parts from Taiwan. Overall design is following the classic/retro look motorbikes, which makes it quite flexible to customize it. We have done 2 of this CMC400 and this is 1 of it with a tracker style.
