The much awaited event, DGR have finally ended last Sunday 27th Sept 2015. For Kuala Lumpur, nearly 600 riders joined the parade. Kuala Lumpur also manage to raised fund around $940 for the Prostate Cancer Research. Although the weather was quite bad as the haze worsen on that day, these dapper gentlefolks risked their life to come and participate in this fun and meaningful event. The organizer, Naked13CafeRacer, however shorten the ride period so that everyone can reach to the final point as soon as possible to avoid exposure to the bad haze.
The starting location for DGRKL this year was amazing. with the aircraft and hanger as backdrop, the TUDM Museum at Sg. Besi was the perfect location for such meaningful event. For some reason I think that the dapper gentlefolk and aircraft blend in together. Police escort for this year was also amazing. 11 outriders calmly escorted the parade. We salute them. The only check point which was The Garage KL also was a blast. The nice design and architecture of the structure really makes the scenery more lively. Riders we served with good food and drinks. Last stop was the Pavillion Bukit Bintang, 1 of the famous shopping centre in KL. I think everyone was thankful to have the final stop here as everyone needed that cooling atmosphere in the Pavillion. The event ended with a blast where The Most Distinguished Gentleman was selected by 1 of the sponsor; Saccor Brothers and the winner got himself a bespoke custom suit.
